EMC News - Marmora - Marie Gordon, President of Marmora Legion Branch 237, said at the outset of the traditional New Year's Day Levee, that it was intended to encourage people "to come in and see what the Legion has to offer." One of the things she pointed to while setting up the table filled with afternoon snacks, was the Memorabilia Room which is filled with photos, artifacts from World Wars I and II, uniforms, badges, books and news clippings. She indicated that visits had been made by students from two of the local schools and that the public could access information at the Legion from noon to 6 daily.
