Time to start thinking about your golf game

EMC Sports -Tweed - Golf season is fast approaching and the fifth annual Jack Vance Golf Classic will be the first major tournament event at Poplars Golf Club. Tee off is at 11 a.m. on Sunday, June 10.

This year we've lowered the registration fee to $95 ($85 for Poplars members) and, as always, it includes 18 holes of golf with a cart, a great steak dinner, prizes, a goody bag and a great time on the golf course! All players will also receive a receipt for tax purposes.

A big turnout is expected so don't delay too long in getting your registration in. The registration form is available on the Tweed & Area Arts Council web site, < www.tweedartscouncil.ca>

Come out and celebrate with Jack, one of Tweed's premier artists and our favourite soldier, Lieutenant General (Retired). All proceeds will go to the Tweed & Area Arts Council's programs and services, particularly to the ongoing upgrades and operations of the Marble Church Arts Centre.
