EMC Sports -Marmora - After a bye in round one of the OMHA play-offs, the Centre Hastings Grizzlies continued their winning streak by defeating the Frontenac Flyers 5 -3 in game one of their best-of-five series held in Marmora on January 29. The Grizzlies got off to a slow start, but found their stride as the game progressed. A crushing body check by Brock Bronson sparked the Grizzlies and by the end of the second period, the Grizzlies had notched four goals, chasing Frontenac's starting goalie from the net. After a hard-fought physical third period, the Grizzlies were

victorious, finishing 5 -3 and taking game one in the series.

The Grizzlies are on the road for game two in Frontenac on Saturday, but will be at home again in Marmora at 2 p.m. Sunday, February 5, for game three. The Peewee Grizzlies would like to thank all of their fans for their support as they head into the play-offs.
