Personal Trainer Terry Reynolds, one of seven area people to present information relating to food and fitness during an evening session held at Marmora Senior School on February 8, demonstrates the use of a very large ball in connection with an abdominal crunch.
Each participant was asked to choose four of a possible seven topics, rotating from one location to the next at 20-minute intervals.
Individual presentations, made by those fully involved in their field, included Preparing Easy and Nutritious Meals, Handwashing and Food Handling, Fitness and Healthy Active Living, Mitzvah/Reiki and Wellness, Weight Management and Wellness, Healthy Food Choices, and one which featured water buffalo products (complete with tasty samples).
Once the sessions were complete, all headed to the library to complete surveys relating to the evening and to participate in draws featuring products made at Porcupine Farm.
